The world must look altogether different when viewed through the eyes of a visionary like Pope Francis. He looked beyond selfish and judgmental human actions, knowing that we, God’s people, are capable of creating a world brimming with mercy and love, humility of service, and fully inclusive because every soul is precious in God’s eyes. Pope Francis, always true to his Jesuit vows, believed that each one of us carries God’s hope into our daily lives and, like Jesus, he taught us how to live this vision of peace.
