Not exactly…. !
I mean, 40th Anniversary cupcakes!

Last week I had the rare occasion to leave my Boston-area cocoon of an office, to fly to St. Louis to meet our Living Faith editorial team in person, and to meet our amazing customer service teams and marketing teams and our cover designer, and my fellow editors at Creative Communications for the Parish (where I work on a variety of devotional booklets besides Living Faith.)
(I began working for Living Faith during the 2020 pandemic, so while I have worked remotely with all these teams since then, all I can say is, there’s nothing like meeting IRL.)
For me, singing “Happy Birthday” to Living Faith was all part of the fun of this 40th anniversary! And doing it with people who really earned their cupcakes for their dedication and hard work behind the scenes for you, our readers—that was just icing on the cake! (Pun intended…)
Speaking of icing, did you see all those happy little Living Faith logos on the cupcakes?? That little creative endeavor was thanks to our assistant editor, Kasey Nugent, who gave all the cupcakes one of the many logos that our 40 year-old magazine has had over the decades. Kasey even edits cupcakes. Amazing.
(Need more history on those logos on our covers, watch this 1-minute video.) Isn’t that fun?
So, that’s it…
With April 1st passing, the 40th anniversary year is over and now it’s back to building towards our 50th year! But before I go, I just have to give a little shout out to these two people at my side in this photo below. Big time thanks to Kasey and Ben, of the Living Faith editorial team in the home office in Fenton, MO. They keep things running…
Long may Living Faith run!
