Welcome to an occasional series focusing on the blogs and writing works of our Living Faith writers…
Sr. Chris Koellhoffer and I have never met in person, we meet in email and on the page. She’s one of the many dedicated writers who has brought life and light to pages of Living Faith. She is a religious sister, and a lover of words. Oh, and so much more:
Chris Koellhoffer, a Sister, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, (Scranton, PA), is a writer, presenter, and spiritual guide. She has experience as an English teacher and school administrator, television producer, director of communications, and pastoral associate. She has also ministered in IHM leadership as councilor for spiritual development and as director of peace and justice for her IHM Congregation. She has served for many years as a spiritual director and retreat director.
Allow me to share her blog with you….
Mining the Now: Uncovering the Sacred in the Dailiness of Life
Here’s a brief description from the blog…
Mining the Now is an invitation to dig deep, to view every moment of our lives as an arena for tending the Holy, for uncovering the Divine speaking to us from everywhere and through everything. Wherever we may be on our spiritual paths, all are welcome to come here often to pray, reflect, and pay attention to God at work in our universe, God who accompanies us through the hopes and the heartaches, the joys and the grievings that are part of each day’s journeys.
