Lord God, as your servant through faith in Jesus, I have been set free from sin and death. I also enjoy the gift of freedom that you have granted to this nation. Help me to use my freedom in Christ and my freedom as an American citizen, not to make evil choices but to serve others. I want to help others and treat them with kindness and respect in your name so that I can be a witness to your love. Out of reverent awe toward you, lead me to honor all people, to show love to my fellow believers and to honor our elected leaders. Amen.
