Ash Wednesday is upon us. Anne L. gives us timely reminder as enter a holy season of fasting, penitence and almsgiving:
…we “do not live on bread alone but on every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.” Our bodies will one day return to dust but our souls are eternal and we need to guard against worldly temptations that can rob us of eternal salvation.
