On the devotion from 6/30, Scott encourages us to stay strong and firm in our faith when faced with life’s turbulent gales and hard downpours because Jesus is with us:
Storms in life happen. Fear, doubting God’s presence, even the doctor giving you “news” of a diagnosis. There are plenty of storms facing us as human beings. Each storm I face, I have faith that Jesus is with me, Jesus is with you holding, strengthening and saying, “Do not be afraid, peace be still in your heart, and I am with always with you.”
