On the devotion from 11/14, commenter Vicki gives comforting words of encouragement for when we are low and in the midst of the valleys of life:
Sometimes there are no words…to make it better, but God’s promises are there. He created the world such that darkness cannot last forever—the darkest night always turns to daylight as the sun must rise. Your dark time must end because God says so, and in the light of that new time, you can be encouraged. He will not let you down. Look ahead to the new day and the light, as you bear whatever darkness you are in, and know you will feel that light inside. May our prayers speed you to that day!
