Holy Spirit, help me to clearly see my sins so that I can have a lively sense of my need for a Savior. Don’t leave me discouraged but give me hope that I might share more deeply in the life of Jesus through this season of preparation. As I wait on the coming of the Lord, help me to do what I can to serve those whose need is greater than my own. Amen.
