Doubt and Divine Mercy

JJC on 4/7 offers a great comforting insight about the resurrected Jesus’ response to Thomas’ doubt:

Thomas openly declared he would not believe until he would see and feel the scars incurred at the crucifixion. Jesus’ reaction to Thomas’ doubt was not to scold him, but to meet him in his doubtful stance, met him where he was at and helped him believe. What better example of divine mercy. Jesus comes to us today to meet us in our own situations and to embrace us in his divine mercy. May we never be hesitant to approach Jesus wherever we are, may we never wait to see, in order to believe.
