Focusing on What Truly Matters

On the reflection from 8/26, Patrick urges us to keep our eyes fixed on the Lord, and, no matter our troubles, the fulfillment of our lives will follow:

Leave judgement to God, He’s very experienced and good at it. But don’t we all make judgements about others and ourselves, the key is not to act out of those judgements by word or deed. It’s the truth of Gods word that sets us free, free to be the person He created us to be. So focus on your relationship with Jesus, your journey to truth, in my experience that [is] enough for a lifetime. Others will observe you and will judge you, so be it. Plant your trust and your feet firmly on the rock of salvation, you will overcome all and complete the mission for which you were created. Observing your journey will encourage others. Who they are and what they need is Gods choice. Being available to be used as humble channels for Gods work is our choice.
