Right now, I am completely out of Bibles, and all other reading materials …” We receive requests like this one, from a chaplain in California, on a regular basis. With budgets under increasing strain, we know there are more chaplains who would like to use our daily devotionals or missalettes but can’t afford to buy them. Your generous financial gifts have made it possible for us to distribute more than 200,000 booklets each year. And we can do more. The challenge is getting in contact with chaplains! Turnover in these ministries can disrupt communications, and sometimes chaplains from other faith perspectives aren’t aware of our daily devotional based on the Catholic lectionary.
Are you, or do you know, a chaplain or a volunteer who works with our military or their families, or someone who serves in a hospital, health care clinic, hospice or in prison ministry?
