On the reflection from 5/31, Scott offers a moving confession about doubt and reiterates the power of trusting God’s promises:
I need to believe that I am not condemned. I will always do my best to follow the commandment of Jesus who God sent to save us and provide salvation of eternal life. Sometimes because of sin I find myself too guilty and condemn myself, feeling shame for the sins of my past and the sins I commit in the future. I have to rely on the salvation that God promises so that all who believe will have eternal life. Ask and it shall be given, receive the compassion, care and love of Jesus so I will be able to do the best I can to be loved and loving to all human beings I meet along life’s journey.
