I remember All Souls’ Day, 2014, standing among the crowd in the piazza in front of St Peter’s. Everyone was excited, calling out, “Papa, Papa, Papa!” Parents held up their children to get a better view of the small window where the Pope soon appeared to deliver his Sunday message and his blessing. Afterwards I was overcome with joy and filled with gratitude for my Catholic faith!
