On the reflection for 7/4, Scott shares his thanks and love for our nation and the Living Faith community of readers and commenters he affectionally calls his “Ohana”:
Blessed 250 years old of being a nation. I have learned to discern the voice of God’s love, compassion, forgiveness, grace that give me purpose to choose life, liberty and pursue happiness. What gives me joy? Knowing this virtual community that guides each of us to be known as beloved children. We are all created in the image of God and in the other side of this earthly life, in God’s glorious kingdom we will meet each other face to face. Unless we meet somewhere in this blessed nation, as we work for liberty and justice for all.
