In response to the reflection on 9/17, Tare wholeheartedly agrees with our Greg Erlandson and St. Paul, encouraging all members to embrace their God-given callings and talents and serve the church:
Absolutely! It’s so true that every single person in the parish plays a vital role in making everything run smoothly. It’s like a big puzzle, and each of us is a unique piece that fits perfectly into the picture. Whether you’re an usher welcoming folks at the door or a volunteer organizing the food pantry, your contributions matter! It’s amazing how these seemingly small roles can have such a big impact on our community. St. Paul really hit the nail on the head when he talked about how we’re all part of one Body. It’s a beautiful reminder that we’re meant to work together, and it’s okay that we don’t all have the same gifts or callings. Some of us might feel drawn to teaching or serving in other ways, while others might find their passion in behind-the-scenes work. Each role is equally important, and it’s what makes our parish vibrant and alive! So, if you or someone you know has a heart for service, don’t hesitate to step up! Whether it’s the sacristan position or any other role, there’s always a need for helping hands and willing hearts. Let’s keep building our community together, one role at a time.
