Sturdy Stones

Commenter Scott H. agrees with the reflection from 8/16: Stones are profound faith-building tools that keep us all grounded.

I used to work for a chaplain at a Hospice organization in Honolulu, Hawaii. We used stones to remember people who have passed. After a year, we put the stones around the plants at the Hospice House we owned. Stones are part of our stories of our faith, love, compassion and respect for all. Remember the people who brought us to learn about the faith of our ancestors who gave us the stones (values) we carry in our hearts and pockets of our lives.

Which ones do you carry?
